The Excellent Class Program of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Trisakti (KU FEB Usakti) has a long-standing tradition of welcoming new students through a Welcoming event held at the beginning of every odd semester. This event aims to help new students integrate with senior students and course lecturers, while also providing an introduction to the new academic environment, the Excellent Class facilities, and the core values upheld by the program. It serves as a platform to ensure new students feel comfortable and ready to begin their academic journey.

In addition to the welcoming event, KU FEB Usakti also regularly organizes a Gathering, which is conducted off-campus as a means to foster a sense of togetherness, solidarity, and shared responsibility. The gathering offers students, lecturers, and program coordinators an opportunity to bond beyond academic settings.

Since 2023, these two events have been merged into one integrated activity, allowing all Excellent Class students from various cohorts to come together with lecturers and program coordinators in a warm, inclusive atmosphere. This joint event also facilitates interaction between students and faculty in a more informal setting, helping build stronger, more personal relationships.

The Welcoming and Gathering of Excellent Class 2024 was organized by the Excellent Class Program in collaboration with the Learning and Gathering Division of the KOLABORASI Committee, under the theme:
“Connect and Collaborate”.
This theme underscores the importance of building strong connections and collaborative relationships among students, lecturers, and program administrators, with the shared goal of fostering unity, mutual support, and collective achievement across individuals, teams, and institutions.

The objectives of the event include:

• Fostering a sense of togetherness and family spirit among Excellent Class students;

• Encouraging teamwork and collaborative group work;

• Enhancing the quality and integrity of Excellent Class students;

• Motivating students to pursue their studies with passion and commitment;

• Developing leadership and social skills;

• Promoting an appreciation for nature and its significance to human life;

• Strengthening relationships between lecturers, program managers, and students.

The event was attended by lecturers, program coordinators, and Excellent Class students from Batch 2021/2022 to 2023/2024 (Batch 20–22). It was held on Saturday, September 21, 2024, from 05:30 AM to 04:00 PM at INAGRO, Jl. Raya Jampang, Desa Karihkil Km 07, Ciseeng District, Bogor Regency 16330. The event proceeded smoothly and was filled with enthusiasm and positive energy from all participants.
