Universitas Trisakti Faculty of Economics and Business Excellent Class Program Carrying out PBL and PjBL Refreshing Activities
Refreshing Problem Based Learning (PBL) and Project Based Learning (PjBL) this time was attended by 11 Lecturers in the FEB Excellent Class Program at Universitas Trisakti, Mrs. Dra RR Dyah Astarini MBA CMA Chair of the FEB Excellent Class Program at Universitas Trisakti and Mrs. Reniati Karnasi SE MM CIFM Secretary of the FEB Excellent Class Program at Universitas Trisakti. The event was held in Building I, Floor 9, Room I 0909, the instructor, Mrs. Dr. Wahyuningsih ME MPhil CRP CPSCM, the lecturers enthusiastically participated in the event, the event ran smoothly.
This event was formed with the aim of producing graduates with superior abilities in the cognitive, affective and psychomotor domains. Application of learning methods Problem Based Learning (PBL) and Project Based Learning (PjBL) was chosen to maximize the active learning process which is expected to facilitate the achievement of these goals. PBL and PjBL require lecturers to act as facilitators, not just conveyers of information. Refreshing helps lecturers develop the competencies needed to guide students in finding solutions and managing projects independently.
Through refreshing, lecturers can update their knowledge and skills in accordance with the latest developments in PBL and PjBL methods. This ensures that the teaching approach used remains relevant and effective. Curriculum and industry needs are constantly changing. Refreshing allows lecturers to adapt their teaching methods to these changes, so that students gain the skills needed in the world of work. PBL and PjBL methods that are managed well can increase student involvement in the learning process. Refreshing helps lecturers find new ways to make learning more interesting and interactive. Refreshment sessions often provide a forum for lecturers to share experiences and strategies.
This encourages collaboration and the exchange of ideas between lecturers, which can improve overall teaching practices. By refreshing, lecturers can reflect on their previous experiences and evaluate the effectiveness of the methods used. This drives continuous improvement in teaching. By ensuring lecturers are skilled in innovative teaching methods, FEB Universitas Trisakti can improve its reputation as an institution committed to the quality of education and learning. Updating lecturers’ knowledge and skills according to the latest developments in PBL and PjBL methods, Equating perceptions of PBL and PjBL teaching in Excellent Class, Training its implementation in class for lecturers who teach courses in the Excellent Class Program, Exchanging experiences as well as evaluating what is given.
