The Excellent Class and International Class Program of the Faculty of Economics and Business, UniversitasTrisakti held a visit to PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk which is located in Cikande Serang Banten, On November 22 2024, the participants were undergraduate students of Accounting and Management and were accompanied by Mr Dr Hermanto Yaputra SE MM CMA as Lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Trisakti, at 07.15 WIB the students gathered in the Universitas Trisakti parking lot, before The students left to take photos first, then at 07.30 WIB they left for the company location.

The purpose of the visit was for students to learn about the company’s operations and activities in the food division. The Trisakti group arrived at 08.40 WIB and were greeted by the company representative, Mrs. Intan, who directed them through the agenda.

After arriving at the company the students were directed to wash their hands. After finishing washing their hands the students were directed to enter a special room for gathering, PT representatives. Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk gave a presentation about the company profile, history and focus of the food division. Students were also given instructions on visit procedures and safety requirements. Before entering the production area, students were given masks and other protective equipment at 09.15 WIB. They were then divided into several groups to observe the production process such as nuggets, sausages and chicken cutters from 09.30 to 11.20.

After production observations, a question and answer session was held from 11.20 to 11.35. Muslim students then have the opportunity to perform Friday prayers from 11.35 to 12.30. The visit ended with the opportunity for students to purchase Fiesta products at factory prices. The Trisakti group then left the facility at around 13.20 to return to campus, while expressing their gratitude for this enlightening experience.
