About FEB Usakti Excellence Class
The Excellence Class Program is an educational program organized in an effort to prepare students and graduates who are better able to compete in the national and global arenas through international standard education. Implementation of this Excellence Class Program begins in semester III in classes attended by the best students of their class with a minimum GPA of 3.25. The number of students in each class is an average of 20 people.
The Excellence Class Program implements a student-oriented learning system (Student Centered Learning) or active learning (Active Learning). The main active learning method used is Problem Based Learning (PBL) which includes interactive lectures, discussions, case solving, and presentations. With PBL and the creation of an atmosphere and conducive learning environment, efforts to improve student competence both cognitively (knowledge/intellect), affective (attitude/behaviour) and psychomotor (skills) can be maximized.
In the learning process, the Excellence Class Program also makes more use of information and communication technology to access various learning resources more quickly, as well as to support efforts towards a green campus (paperless). The main language of instruction used is English, and lectures are designed to be completed by students within 7 (seven) semesters.
